Specimens and Orders for PancraGEN®, PanDNA®, and Fluid Chemistry Testing Are No Longer Being Accepted
The Genetic Testing for Oncology (L39365) Local Coverage Determination (LCD) issued by the Medicare Administrative Contractor Novitas Solutions has gone into effect, as of 4/24/25, ending reimbursement for PancraGEN®.
Because PancraGEN and PanDNA are primarily ordered for Medicare patients, this policy decision means that Interpace Diagnostics® can no longer offer these tests and the related fluid chemistry tests for amylase, CEA, and glucose.
Specimens and orders for PancraGEN, PanDNA, and fluid chemistry testing are no longer being accepted as of May 2, 2025.
Interpace will continue to offer ThyGeNEXT®+ThyraMIR®v2 without interruption.
